Prepwithus – Educational Services is a family-owned, award-winning test preparation, essay writing and academic tutoring company that has been serving the Main Line area of Pennsylvania since 1969. Over fifty years of genuine results, word-of-mouth reputation and deeply personalised 1-to-1 teaching — with a website that wasn’t keeping pace with any of it.
The brief was a full redesign and rebuild — consolidating a fragmented sitemap into something logical, parent-friendly and easy to navigate. The old site had grown organically over years into a maze of disconnected pages, duplicate service listings and broken integrations. The new sitemap restructured everything around three clear service pillars: Prep for Elementary, Middle & High School; Prep for College; and Prep for Graduate School — with child pages sitting cleanly beneath each.
The scope was significant. A 15-person team page with bios, specialties, languages and fun facts. Four job application forms with file upload functionality. Stripe payment integration for diagnostic testing packages. A testimonials system, a referral programme banner, FAQs woven into every service page, test date information with external links, and a full 301 redirect map to protect fifty-plus years of SEO equity during the transition. All built on a carefully selected education-focused Elementor starter kit, stripped back and rebuilt to feel genuinely bespoke.
Prepwithus is the kind of client that makes you want to do your best work — a business built entirely on trust, personal relationships and demonstrable results, where the website needs to communicate warmth and credibility in equal measure.
The UX was reorganised from the ground up in Figma. Parents landing on the site are typically stressed, time-poor and looking for reassurance quickly — so the information architecture prioritises clarity over comprehensiveness. The three service pillars sit front and centre, each with clean sub-navigation leading to specific programme pages. Testimonials and award logos are woven throughout rather than buried on a single page, and the referral programme surfaces consistently across every test prep page where it’s most relevant.
The visual design is warm and approachable — the kind of tone that says “we know what we’re doing and we genuinely care” rather than “corporate tutoring franchise.” Confident typography, friendly photography and a layout that scales gracefully from desktop to mobile. The team page in particular received careful attention — fifteen individual profiles, each built dynamically through WordPress custom post types so ES can add, update and reorder tutors without touching code.
The result is a site that finally does justice to a company that’s been doing exceptional work for over five decades. Built with care. Just like the teaching.
